
Production Admin
1. Production Planning & Progress Management
• Receive the production plan from the Production Manager and communicate/update the plan to sewing lines.
• Monitor daily production progress, record output, and track work-in-progress (WIP) by process.
• Follow up with sewing teams/lines to ensure production is completed according to the order timeline.
• Update and adjust production plans when there are changes or unexpected issues from customers or the Planning Department.
• Support the preparation and implementation of production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time.
2. Production Documents & Records
• Prepare and maintain production documents and forms, including work orders, cutting tickets, material issuance forms, inspection forms, and other relevant records.
• Consolidate daily/weekly production output and manpower reports for each sewing line.
• Maintain and organize technical production documents, including patterns, technical specifications, master samples, color standards, accessories/trims, and other related documents.
3. Cross-functional Coordination
• Coordinate with the Warehouse to monitor the availability and status of raw materials and trims, including fabric, zippers, buckles, foam/padding, backpack accessories, etc.
• Coordinate with QC/QA to follow up on quality issues, defects, and corrective actions during production.
• Act as a communication point between Production, Planning, Technical/R&D, Purchasing, Warehouse, and QC/QA to ensure smooth production operations.
• Follow up on material or technical issues that may affect production progress and delivery schedules.
4. Machinery & Manpower Monitoring
• Monitor the condition and availability of production equipment and report machine issues for repair or maintenance when necessary.
• Monitor manpower changes and workforce allocation among sewing lines.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to arrange manpower when required to support production requirements.
5. Production Reporting
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Prepare production progress reports and highlight potential risks that may affect order deadlines.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual production performance and report significant variances.
• Prepare material consumption reports when assigned.
6. Other Production Responsibilities
• Support the Production Manager in all production-related activities to ensure efficient operations and that production is carried out according to the approved plan.
• Support production improvement activities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Handle other production administrative tasks and duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
• College/Technical College degree or above, preferably in Garment Technology, Production Management, or related fields.
• Experience working in backpack, bag, garment manufacturing, or related industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MES systems is an advantage.
• Conversational English.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to work under production deadlines and pressure.
• Careful, honest, proactive, flexible, and responsible in work.
